Registrations for VVS Summer School are NOW OPEN!
VVS Summer School is open to all eligible Alberta school-aged senior high students and runs from July 1 to August 22.

If students are eligible, we guarantee their enrollment!

Students must read the Eligibility Requirements and Registration Checklist on the Registration webpage prior to registering.

Eligible high school students can register for up to 10 credits in summer.

What can they take? Students can find the available senior high courses in our Course Catalogue, including prerequisite requirements and required material information.
Important! There are minimum mark requirements for prerequisite courses and these marks must appear on the student’s Detailed Academic Report (DAR) in myPass prior to registering for Summer School courses. -
Students transitioning into grade 10 can register in CALM, Physical Education 10, introductory electives and CTS courses (core summer courses are not available for these students).

When can they start? Students get access to their Summer School courses on July 1. Summer School teachers will be available starting July 4.
Students Register Themselves!
Students (with their parent/guardian if under 18 years of age) register for our Summer School themselves by completing our Registration Form.

July 4 - Deadline to register in 5-credit summer courses

July 29 - Deadline to register in 1- and 3-credit summer courses
No Fees for Partner Schools
Summer School is outside of your Education Services Agreement. The costs of summer courses your students take through us are covered through Alberta Education summer school funding.

Note: Students are responsible for purchasing required material (a caution fee that can be 100% refundable per our Return Policy) and the cost of shipping, if applicable.
August Diploma Exams and VVS Summer School Students
Students that register in diploma-level courses through our Summer School MUST register to write the diploma exam through myPass to write at VVS (instructions are listed on our website).
