Steven Harding Memorial Scholarship Application Deadline June 15th, 2021

Steven Harding was the 2008 valedictorian whose future was cut tragically short in a car accident that
same year. A scholarship fund was created by his family with all of the awards that Steven had earned
that year. A $500 award is given on an annual basis to a graduating student going on to post-secondary
in the year following graduation who displays many of the traits that Steven displayed. The winner shall
have displayed the following:

1. Participation in extra-curricular activities
2. Community involvement
3. A History of volunteerism
4. A positive attitude
5. Displayed enthusiasm to work, school and their peers

The letter of application is to be sent to Fox Creek School via Canada Post, drop off, or email by June 15
and will contain a description of why the applicant should receive the award based upon the stated
criteria. The recipient will be chosen by the team of Principal, Academic Counsellor, and another
teacher.
